These qualifications are designed for individuals wishing to develop their professional consultancy abilities, and who will have the knowledge, skills and behaviours to drive consultancy activities in a consulting capacity. They will have the professionalism to deliver impact, behave ethically and demonstrate a commitment to continual learning and development. The qualifications have been designed for Professional Consultants practising or aspiring Management Consultants, wishing to formalise or develop their learning and progress on to Chartered Management Consultant (ChMC).

Award (1 Unit), Certificate (3 Units) or Diploma Level (c.6 Units)
RQF Level 5 is regarded in academic terms as being equivalent to a Foundation Degree and Higher National Diploma (HND)
Your Diploma in Professional Consulting is accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), as are the Award and Certificate
Nationally recognised: all credits earned are transferable to other university or college programmes within a similar discipline
Completion of a written assignment per Unit (word count per assignment up to c.1000 words) - no examinations

RULES OF COMBINATION
There are minimum requirements to achieve each qualification within this suite. The minimum requirements are based on the boundaries outlined in Ofqual’s Guidance to the General Conditions of Recognition, namely Condition E2.
CMI LEVEL 5 AWARD IN MANAGEMENT CONSULTING PRACTICE
Learners must complete the mandatory unit 547 to a total of 70 TUT in order to achieve this qualification. The minimum GLH is 16 hours, with 7 credits.
Please note: Learners can only complete 547 for this qualification to demonstrate practical application. For knowledge only, Learners should select the Level 5 Award in Principles of Management Consulting (5A40).

CMI LEVEL 5 CERTIFICATE IN MANAGEMENT CONSULTING PRACTICE
Learners must select at least two units to a minimum of 140 TUT hours to achieve this qualification.
Learners must complete the mandatory unit 547 to a minimum of 70 TUT and select an additional unit from Optional Group B to a minimum of 70 TUT.
The minimum GLH is 36 hours, with 14 credits.

CMI LEVEL 5 DIPLOMA IN MANAGEMENT CONSULTING PRACTICE
Learners complete a minimum of 430 TUT hours to achieve this qualification.
Learners must complete the Mandatory Unit from Group A plus any combination of units from Group B to a total minimum of 43 credits.
The minimum GLH is 120 hours, with 43 credits.
NOTE: in order to meet the requirements of the ChMC Applied Route, Learners should consider undertaking:

● Group B - Units 540, 541, 543, 546, 548
