The new Level 5 Management Consulting qualification suite has been developed for several reasons:
● Introduction of a new Chartered Management Consultant (ChMC) applied route
● A new Chartered Management Consultant (ChMC) Competency Framework has been developed,
creating a standard framework across the sector
As part of our commitment to ensure relevant, valid professional qualifications, the Level 5 Management
Consulting qualifications have been developed to align with the ChMC Competency Framework.
These qualifications have also been developed in consultation with Institute of Consulting members,
providers and consultancy firms.
These qualifications are designed for individuals wishing to develop their professional consultancy abilities,
and who will have the knowledge, skills, and behaviours to drive consultancy activities in a consulting
capacity. They will have the professionalism to deliver impact, behave ethically, and demonstrate a
commitment to continual learning and development.
The Management Consulting Practice qualifications have been designed for practising or aspiring
Management Consultants, wishing to formalise or develop their learning and progress to Associate
Chartered Management Consultant (ChMC).
These qualifications are aligned to the Applied Level of the Chartered Management Consultant
Competency Framework.
We developed two (2) separate qualifications from the suite:
- Principles of Management Consulting
- Management Consulting Practice
The qualifications have been designed for professional consultants practising or aspiring management consultants wishing to formalise or develop their learning and progress to becoming chartered management consultants (ChMC).
