The Partners wanted to implement a change management programme to instill the practice’s core values at all levels and take customer service and patient care to ‘the next level’ in order to position the business for future growth and development.
Journey:
We supported the management team within the Mullan Gallagher Dental Group to implement a range of business improvement initiatives and successfully achieve the internationally acclaimed Investors in People Standard (www.investorsinpeople.co.uk)
Outcome:
Ciara Gallagher and Peter Mullan, partners in Mullan Gallagher Dental Group and their Practice Manager Mary Deeny, received the prestigious ‘Investors in People’ award from Sir Reg Empey, Minister for Training and Development at Hillsborough Castle in recognition of the ‘good practice’ implemented across all areas of the organisation.
Explaining that ‘a good practice can never stand still’ Ciara said ‘it must constantly evolve, embracing changing technologies and changing times. During this difficult credit crunch period’, she added, ‘We would like to remind the local community that we continue to provide NHS dental care. For us our patients must always come first’.
According to the assessors, one of the reasons this practice got the award was because they demonstrated that they put time effort and resources into developing their staff.
