INTRODUCING NEW STANDARDS WITHIN THE UK SECURITY SECTOR

Context:
Samdec (www.samddec.co.uk) provides security services to a broad range of clients throughout the UK and Ireland.  The organisation is committed to continually improving both its people and the way in which it delivers its services. Samdec is a fast paced and growing organisation and the senior management team realised that in order to manage growth they needed to ensure the appropriate management systems, processes and structures were in place.

Journey:
The management team within Samdec realised that they needed to implement change to management systems and processes to provide a solid foundation for the growth and development of the company. Our experts worked closely with the management team to raise awareness of “good management practice” and facilitate the implementation of improved management structures, processes and systems across all areas of the company.

Outcome:
The management team aligned their approaches with international standards of good-practice and undertook assessment against ISO9001:2008.  Samdec were successfully recognised as the first security service provider in Northern Ireland to achieve this prestigious and internationally recognised standard.
